Before becoming a REALTOR®, Dean spent 25 years in hospitality management, where he honed his skills in customer service, negotiation, and attention to detail—qualities that now benefit his real estate clients. Dean specializes in residential and rural residential properties, helping clients find their perfect home, whether in a vibrant neighborhood or a serene countryside retreat. Beyond his work with clients, Dean is a dedicated leader in the real estate community. He serves as a director on local and statewide professional industry boards, is active throughout those association communities, and is board president of a regional charity focused on homeownership, housing and education.
At home in Napa
Dean lives in Napa with his wife and two daughters. In his free time, he enjoys stream fishing, cycling, and attempting to improve his golf game—though he humbly admits to being a mediocre golfer.

Meet Ted Stumpf
Dean and his business partner Ted met at Dean's first Napa brokerage and found they shared the same roots in hospitality. Today they work every transaction together, so each client has two experienced agents watching the details.
Ted brings eight years as a REALTOR® and 25 years in hospitality. He grew up in a family of Realtors in central Indiana, earned a degree in economics and philosophy from the University of Notre Dame, and built a career in event management sales and service that took him to Los Angeles, San Francisco and, finally, the Napa Valley. Ted, his husband and their dog have called the region home for 17 years.
He calls it a wonderful irony that his journey led back to an agricultural community with the small-town feel he loved growing up. Today he draws his energy from helping his neighbors navigate their real estate journeys with honesty, perseverance and professionalism, and find their own “happily ever after.”
